Welcome to the Jungle and its Nature of Chitwan National Park

Chitwan National Park tour takes you to a naturally beautiful wildlife conservation area in the subtropical inner lowlands of southern Nepal. Nepal has various landscapes from high mountains to lush valleys, hills and vast green forests. These forests in the ‘Terai’ or plains of Nepal are natural habitat to several endangered and rare species of wildlife, where they are protected under law. Similarly, Chitwan National Park is one of the protected areas which has been developed as a top holiday destination for a natural retreat and heartwarming wildlife tours in Nepal.

Extollo’s 6-day Chitwan National Park Tour begins with UNESCO World Heritage sightseeing in Kathmandu valley where you will discover rich cultural heritage such as its architectural marvels and the ancient Hindu and Buddhist relics. These include ancient Kathmandu Durbar Square, the holy Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, one of the world’s biggest Bouddhanath stupa and Swyambhunath stupa on a hilltop. Then we head towards Chitwan, it’s a comfortable  5-hour drive to the Chitwan National Park, which is the main highlight of the tour. In the steamy sub-tropical jungles of Chitwan, you get to enjoy bird-watching and a laidback safari by elephant-back while also getting in touch to the tribal culture of the region. Chitwan National Park houses numerous variety of wildlife including one-horned rhinoceros, Asian Elephants, Royal Bengal Tigers, Gharial crocodiles, deer, birds and many more.
