Embark on your journey into enlightenment and wellness by taking the Yoga retreat with sightseeing in Bhutan.

The seven days Yoga Retreat tour is a blended journey of discovering the culture and heritage of Bhutan while reviving your physical, mental and spiritual self. The tour takes you to three distinct and renowned places in Bhutan: Paro, Thimphu, and Punakha. You can witness ancient Buddhist relics, statues, Dzongs, monasteries, chortens, and more.

Along with the daily yoga sessions, you will visit incredible places and monuments like Tashichho Dzong, Buddha Dordenma, Takin Reserve, Chimi Lhakhang, Punakha Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang, and Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten. Finally, there is a fantastic hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery/ Paro Taktsang.

The tour begins with a drive from Paro to Thimphu, followed by sightseeing and a yoga session at Thimphu. The next sightseeing visit is to Punakha valley, including yoga, meditation, and relaxation sessions. From Punakha, drive back to Paro for a hike to the famous Tiger's Nest Monastery, followed by a final spa, restorative yoga, and a deep relaxation session.

When Is The Best Time To Go?

The time of spring from March to May and Autumn from late September to November is regarded as the best time to take tours in Bhutan. As the weather and sky are clear, the views of the mountains are beautiful and vivid.

Moreover, the climate is pleasant, and you might catch the locals celebrating different events during these festive seasons.

Is This The Right Trip For You?

This yoga retreat with on-land drives does not require any trekking or intensive activity; hence, this tour is suitable for all.

It is worth noting that there will be a 5 to 7 hours both-way hike spanning a total of 8.6 km to a maximum altitude of 3,180 m to the Tiger's Nest Monastery. However, it is not as strenuous and can be done by anyone with adequate physical fitness.
